I was curious about that myself. I know I’ve spent a lot of time collecting the music but not counting that I would have to say it takes about 8-10 hours a week to put together a 1-hour Jesus Solid Rock program. As I get more proficient with the software, it may take me a lot less time. For you techies out there, I produce Jesus Solid Rock on Audacity. It’s open-source software and definitely worth a look. Maybe I could do it quicker if I actually did it live, but I don’t do it live. I do all my voiceovers separately, choose individual songs depending on the topic of the program, and then I lay out everything like a newspaper so it flows well.
I generally do my voice overs in my car because of the excellent acoustics. I lay out the show in a local Starbucks as well as record the topic. So if you hear some clanging of pots in the background of the episode topic teaching, then you’ll know that it’s the people at Starbucks letting you know they’re there!
